Windows are the weak point
Windows account for 72% of unwanted heat gain, far outweighing roof, walls, infiltration and floors. Fix the glass and you fix the building.
A patented process of an aluminium-coated, infused PET sheet, perforated and laminated to a sheet of clear PET. Engineered by Ensol to work in two modes, all year round, on the weakest thermal element in any building, glass.
Space heating and cooling account for 40–65% of energy costs in many buildings, and most of that energy escapes via glazing. Ultrasol works as a radiant barrier installed inside your existing window, addressing every mode of heat transfer through glass in a single application.

High-reflectivity aluminium reflects solar heat and UV back outward.
Low aluminium emissivity (0.03–0.05) means only 3–5% of unwanted heat is re-emitted into the room.
A UV-filtering polymer layer absorbs harmful ultraviolet light that damages occupants and finishes.
Ultrasol is reversible: silver side out in summer rejects solar heat; black side out in winter absorbs solar heat and re-radiates it back into the room.
Solar heat and UV rays reflected outward. Cool interior air insulated from hot glass. Daylight passes through with reduced glare.
Solar heat absorbed and re-radiated back into the room. Warm interior air insulated from cold glass. UV rays still reflected.
Ultrasol is built from micro-thin layers of dielectric coatings on highly reflective aluminium, bonded to a perforated carbon-graphite PVC sheet and laminated to a clear UV-filtering polyester, a stack engineered for reflectivity, strength and UV absorption.
High reflectivity & very low emissivity (0.03–0.05).
Strong, light, heat-resistant, perforated and embossed for structure.
Clear outer polymer that absorbs harmful ultraviolet light.
Three micro-thin layers (aluminium, carbon-graphite PVC and UV polymer) laminated into a single application engineered for reflectivity, strength and UV absorption.
Compliant with AS 1530.3. Installed as a fixed frame, Ultrasol is deemed to satisfy under BCA Section J requirements as a double-glazing alternative to achieve a minimum 6 Star Rating.
Compatible with all types of windows, configured to suit each building's interior design.
Operable Ultrasol material rolled up or down as required, ideal for adapting to changing sun conditions through the day.
Vertical blind configuration for tall window expanses and commercial frontages.
Fixed-frame installation that qualifies as a double-glazing alternative under BCA Section J for a minimum 6 Star Rating.
